There are beautiful individuals of all ethnicities and cultures in Malaysia, but we can all agree on one thing: FOOD! We have a HUGE variety of food, including Chinese, Malay, Indian, and many more cuisines. In addition, we have great local chefs who study and perfect recipes from other countries and bring them to our own.

Whatever your dietary preferences—meat eater, vegetarian, vegan, seafood lover, etc.—sushi is always the right dish for you. Sushi is always a good choice because there are so many different ways to make it. We have produced a list of Malaysia’s top sushi restaurants below! We’re going on an expedition, so make sure you’re hungry!

  1. Sushi Mentai taiping

If you couldn’t care less about the excellent Omakase experience above, I would personally suggest this. The majority of the materials are imported straight from Japan by Sushi Mentai taiping, whose mission is to give everyone the opportunity to experience real sushi, regardless of ability to pay. The best part about it all is that the majority of people can get it because they have numerous outlets in Malaysia. They are currently making a lot of effort to promote quality while keeping prices low.

  1. Sushi Ten Omakase

You don’t have to worry about ordering too much or the wrong sushi because the chef decides what to serve during omakase. For RM360 per pax, you may savour their meticulously prepared 8-course meal, which is prepared right in front of you. Additionally, because their seafood is imported twice weekly from Japan, they guarantee freshness.

  1. Sushi Hibiki

It is not unexpected at all to introduce another omakase restaurant as this is the best Japanese food you can have. Chef Makoto Saito Sam oversees Sushi Hibiki, where he has been creating sushi for several decades while interacting with the patrons. He loves the dining experience above everything else, and a correspondent for the upscale magazine Malaysia Tatler named them one of the Top 20 restaurants in 2020.

  1. TAKA

TAKA is the ideal location if you’re searching for something heartier because Chef Uehara, a master of beef, is in charge there! Since the ingredients are freshly cultivated and harvested in Japan, you may savour your meal with confidence that it will be of the highest calibre. In addition to their incredible variety of offerings, you have the pleasure of combining sake with any of the Omakase menus.

  1. Sushi Oribe

This lovely restaurant has been around for six years. Three Japanese and one Malaysian chef who focuses on improving client experiences have been leading them for many years. Despite their professionalism, they are receptive to comments regarding how clients would like to be handled. It demonstrates how committed they are to the procedure and the satisfaction of their clients.

  1. Nori Sushi

Nori Sushi places its emphasis on delivering the best sushi in terms of the quality and freshness of its ingredients, in contrast to the restaurants prior that primarily focused on the entire voyage. Additionally, Steven, a seasoned sushi chef, will demonstrate his originality for you. Here is a link to their complete preview.

Of course, not all of your favourite sushi restaurants could possibly be included on the list. So far, I think it looks very well. How do you feel about the list? Did it make you want to go out and have some nice sushi?
