When you’re applying for a new job, you may be asked to complete a pre-employment physical. For many businesses, physical exams are an easy way to measure health, stamina, and compatibility for performing the physical duties of a position. Physical exams have been shown to cut down on injuries in the workplace. They also provide a baseline for your health and wellness and can detect medical concerns early.

Industrial Wellness
Employees are a company’s most valuable assets. Happy, healthy employees enhance the workplace environment with a greater sense of morale, reduced stress, and increased productivity. Companies with healthy employees benefit from low employee turnover, enhanced employee performance, and a greater return on investment. On the other hand, companies that employ people with chronic illness and risk factors for disease are more likely to experience higher healthcare costs, increased absenteeism, more frequent disability, and low productivity.
