It was written by Matt de la Pena and Christian Robinson, who have won awards and written some of the best-selling picture books in the New York Times. Milo draws pictures of what he thinks the other people on the train are doing while he is riding with his sister. He tells a story about a little boy with white sneakers who lives in a castle with a moat and a butler. Still, when he gets off the train and sees that the boy is going to the same place he is, he realizes that we are more alike than different: both boys are going to visit their mothers in prison.
