These features are great because you can easily set up your robot vacuum to clean while you’re at work or when you go to bed, ensuring that your home is spotless by the time you get back.
However, there may be times when your Roomba is not charging or not connected to the cloud and unable to receive schedules from your mobile device. Here’s how to fix this issue so that you can clean from anywhere!
Is your Roomba really disconnected from the internet?
There’s a few things that could be going on if your Roomba isn’t connecting to the internet. It could be that your Wi-Fi network is down, that there’s an issue with your Roomba’s software, or that your Roomba’s battery is low. If you’re sure that your Wi-Fi network is up and running, try restarting your Roomba. If that doesn’t work, you can try factory resetting your Roomba.
Resolve problems with power outages
If you’re experiencing power outages, there are a few things you can do to try and resolve the issue. First, check your power cord to make sure it’s securely plugged into both your Roomba and the outlet. If that doesn’t work, try resetting your Roomba by pressing the Clean button for two seconds. If that doesn’t work, try unplugging your Roomba for a minute and then plugging it back in.
Remove your Roomba from this network

Moving your robot closer to your router

Next, try moving your robot closer to your router. Sometimes the signal strength can be weak if the robot is too far away. If you still can’t get a connection, try restarting both your router and your robot.
Change your Wi-Fi name and password

- Log into your router’s web interface. This is usually done by typing 192.168.1.1 into your browser’s address bar.
