Introduction
A little creeping succulent plant native to Central and South America, Callisia bubble is a small creeping succulent plant. This bubble plant features little green leaves on top and a dark purple colour underneath. It grows in a compact but creeping manner. Hanging baskets, shelves, and window sills are all good options. It can be left hanging or trimmed on a regular basis to maintain a more compact look.
General Care
Callisia bubbles is a low-maintenance, easy-to-care-for plant. It grows quickly and in a range of situations, making it an excellent starting plant.
Water
Callisia bubbles thrives in slightly damp soil, but it must not be left to sit in water or it will rot. Water once a week, less frequently in the winter and more frequently in the summer. You can also use a soil moisture meter to avoid overwatering.
Light
Callisia thrives in brighter light than many other indoor plants. The plant will grow faster and have more colour if it is exposed to bright indirect sunlight. It’s also a good idea to get some direct light. If the leaves are exposed to too much light, they will burn and turn brown. Not enough light and the growth will become pale.
Temperature
Callisia may grow in a variety of temperatures, although it prefers to be kept at a moderate temperature. Callisia can be cultivated outside in a sheltered or shady location, although it should be protected from frost in colder climates. There are no particular humidity requirements; regular home humidity is sufficient.
