Let’s go on to the last half of this blog, where I’ll show you how to get your UPSC admit card.
The UPSC 2022 admit card release dates will be updated as soon as they are available. But, for now, I’ve shared the admit card-elated dates of the 2021 Mains exam with you to give you a basic sense of the dates.
Before we go any further, I’d like to draw your attention to the fact that the UPSC admit card for the 2021 Mains test, which was held from January 7th to January 7th, 2022, was posted on the UPSC’s official website on December 17th, 2021.
The UPSC admit cards are all electronic. That is, it will not be mailed to you; instead, you will need to download it from the UPSC’s official website and print it.q
Steps to Download Admit Card:
- To download your UPSC admit card you need to first go over to upsc.gov.in and click on the “Admit Cards” link on the right side of the page.

After that, you’ll be taken to a page with a list of the UPSC exams for which e-admit cards are available.The UPSC also issues e-admit cards for other recruitment posts and e-summons, in addition to those for exams.
- The next step is to download your IAS mains admit card by clicking on the website called civil services mains exams (for the specific year).
- Before you are able to download your admit card, you will be asked to enter your roll no. or registration Id for the UPSC mains.

After then, the admit card will open as a PDF. Take a printout of it when you’ve downloaded it. To be able to sit for all of the mains papers, you must bring your admit card to your mains exam center.
