Here is the post on The Holy Kaaba offered by our travel agency with the cheap and best Hajj and umrah packages all-inclusive. Masjid Al-Haram houses the Kaaba, Allah’s Holy House. According to researcher Abu-Najih, “the Kaaba was named because it was raised above the rest of the land, hence it was also called a square.'” According to another historian, it was given that name because it was more conspicuous and taller than other structures.

It is also referred to as ‘Bait-e-Ateeq’ since Allah has shielded it from non-believers. The building of the Kaaba has gone through several stages. Angels constructed it the first time. Hazrat Adam built it the second time (A.S). Hazrat Ibrahim erected it for the third time (A.S). Fourth, it was built during Quraish (before Prophet PBUH became a messenger), and it was rebuilt by Hazrat Abdullah Bin Zubair (R.A).

For Muslims, the holiest locations on earth are Makkah and Madinah. They go to these areas to seek Allah’s pardon and companionship. These locations are especially linked with worship since the Holy Kaaba was the first house ever built for the worship of Allah. Apart from seeing the Holy Kaaba and Madinah, Hajj and Umrah also highlight the significance of other sacred sites in Makkah. Here is a list of some of these historical sites to help you decide which ones to visit.

• Prophet Muhammad’s PBUH birthplace:
The birthplace of the Prophet (PBUH) is near the Al-Haram Mosque. It’s around a 5 to 6 minutes walk from the major Mosque.

• Jannat-ul-Mualla:
The famed Makkah Graveyard, where the Prophet’s PBUH loving wife Hazrat Khadija (R.A), Prophet’s PBUH mother, Prophet’s Companions, and many more are buried. The graveyard lies on Gaza Street, near the Al-Haram Mosque, on the road to Mina.

• Alraet Masjid:
This is where Prophet Muhammad PBUH raised his flag during the capture of Makkah (Fateh-Makkah).

• Masjid Al-Jinn (Al-Jinn Mosque):
Masjid Al-Harass, also known as Jannat-ul-Mualla, is located near the graveyard of Jannat-ul-Mualla. It is called after an occasion in which the Prophet PBUH was accompanying Abdullah Ibn Masood (R.A) and began reading the Quran when the warriors of Jinn began to come and took an oath (Bayt) from the Prophet PBUH.

• Masjid-e-Aisha:
This mosque, also known as Masjid-Al-Taneem, is located outside the Haram. The mosque is located between Makkah and Madinah, approximately 4 miles from the Holy Kaaba. If a person lives in Makkah and wants to conduct Umrah, they must enter Ihram from here.

• Abdul Aziz Masjid:
Those who wish to do Umrah will be required to enter Ihram from this mosque.

• Mount Thor (Jabil-e-Sor)
This mountain is located around six kilometers from Makkah. This mountain is home to Cave Thour. This is the location where the Prophet PBUH and Hazrat Abu Bakr (R.A) spent three days before to Hijrat.

• Mount Nour (Jabl-e-Nour)
This peak is three kilometers from Makkah on the road to Mina. The mountain is around 2,000 feet tall. On this mountain, the famed cave Hira is located, where the Prophet PBUH got His first revelation, as recorded in the Quran:
Read in the name of your Lord, who formed man from a clot of rotting flesh. Read, and your Lord is Most Bountiful, who showed (man) how to handle a pen and taught him what he did not know.

• Hazrat Khadija’s (R.A.) House:
The Prophet PBUH remained here till His Hijrat to Madinah. Except for Hazrat Ibrahim, all of his children were born here (R.A). Fatimah al-Zahra Street is where the home is located. This home is now Dar-ul-Hifz, a Quran-memorization center for youngsters.
