You may be looking for ways to bring your family with you if you apply for the Super Visa program. To be eligible for this great program, you should:
Be the primary care givers (PCG) of one or more Canadian citizens or permanent residents of Canada. Have a written letter from your adult child or adult grandchild that clearly states: that they request to apply for Super Visa as primary care givers, that they have been accepted and are now in transit to their new country and that they expect to return to Canada once they have reached their destination. It is advisable to submit a second letter to prove the PCG position in the United States. The PCG application is available online and can be filled out in person or by mail.
The primary care givers will be responsible for providing for the costs of living, as well as for the financial aid for the family’s children and of any other dependents. These costs include health care, school fees, and any other costs that are associated with providing care to the children. In some cases, the care givers may have to cover some of the cost themselves. If you are seeking a special immigrant visa, the primary care givers need not prove to the Super Visa officer that they have sufficient funds to meet these expenses.
When you submit the primary care giver application, be prepared to answer detailed questions. You can provide all of the information required on the application, or you can choose to provide only some of the information requested. You will need to list the names of each of your adult children, the address of your home, and the name and birth date of each person.
Once you have met the requirements, the application can be submitted to the government and become a primary care giver. However, it is important to keep in mind that the approval process for Super Visa takes time, and that it is usually granted to people who are willing to put in time, effort and commitment towards the family.
Once your application has been approved, you will be given a card indicating that you are now a primary care giver of a Super Visa. or permanent resident of Canada, and that you will have full rights and privileges of any other permanent residence.
When you arrive at your new home, you will then be required to fill out the appropriate paperwork and submit it for the necessary documents, which include proof that you are indeed a permanent residence. and proof that your work will support you and the children’s needs. As a primary caregiver you will then be able to continue to pay taxes on the residence and maintain the tax status of the Canada Revenue Agency. If you were unable to meet the above requirements, you will not be able to apply for the Super Visa program.
If you are approved and qualify for the Super Visa program, you will be able to apply for permanent residence in the United States and apply for citizenship. It is advisable to plan your trip to the U.S. well in advance, and to make arrangements for your departure from Canada as soon as possible, if at all possible. You may want to leave the country as early as possible, as most immigration procedures take approximately nine months to complete.
Most states require their primary caregivers to be employed while in the country. If you are working in Canada, you should ensure that the employment status there is valid. In most cases the employment will be valid only during the six-month period of the program, but sometimes the authorities waive this requirement.
To get started you will need to provide information about your health care provider. This information will help the authorities to determine if the person you are planning to sponsor is eligible for an Super Visa. If you are planning to sponsor someone, you will need to have a complete medical history report. This will include any tests that are performed on the person, the types of medical treatments that were conducted on the person, and any health-related information that are available to the authorities.
You must pass the medical exam before your application is accepted. You must also submit the appropriate documents relating to your health care provider, such as bills and letters that were provided by him/her for Business immigration.
