MNREGA job new announcement
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has announced the second installment of the package of 20 lakh crore rupees on Thursday. The other states were trapped in another state and now they have returned to their village, for those migrant laborers returning, the amount of Rs 182 daily received in MNREGA was increased to Rs 202 daily.
Under this scheme, 14.6 crore man-days of work have been done by the government till 13 May i.e. 14.62 crore man-days of work have been made available till 13 May 2020. A provision of Rs 10,000 crore was made for this work so that the migrant laborers who came back could get work.

The NREGA Planning Act was introduced by the government under the leadership of PV Narasimha Rao in 1991. Which was accepted in both MPs. After acceptance, NREGA was implemented in 625 districts of India. The plan was published in 2014 in the World Development Report and later the World Bank called the scheme a shining example of rural development.
