Luca Changretta was born to a working class family from London’s Italian community in 1873 . During his early twenties, luca would become friends with Arthur Shelby Jr.. The two men grew up together as boys around Birmingham – an industrial city home to many poor English families (such as luca’s) along with growing numbers of foreigners like lucas’ parents who originated from France and Switzerland.
