Weddings are one of the most precious moments in our lives and this young and cheerful couple made sure they treated it like one. Bride Eshita Sharma and groom Dhruv Gupta went ahead for a destination wedding at Le Meridien, Jaipur which left everyone emotion-ridden and awestruck.
Theirs is a story where both knew they had something special right when they first met each other. “The moment that I met him I knew something was special and really different about us. He has shown me so much love and respect and I promise to give all of that back to him”, said Eshita. Their words filled everyone’s hearts, just as the ceremonies did. Every event was planned, designed and executed with a distinct theme and utmost elegance by Konark Events and Wedding Planners.
The haldi ceremony was brought alive with happy, light pastel colors all around along with a plethora of beautiful flowers. The mood of the event got going with the sounds of dhol and cheer as the couple entered. The mischief and smiles on everyone’s face indeed made it a magnificent experience.
The mehendi ceremony décor was on the lines of blue pottery and rustic theme. As for a destination wedding, blue pottery added a more native look of Jaipur to the event. It was a poolside event full of fun and frolic. It definitely served colorful and vibrant set up, perfect for some clicks for the gram and the wedding album!
The sangeet ceremony was a grand affair in itself, with an over-the-top stage backdrop décor which consisted of more than a thousand light bulbs. The affair had a mesmerizing charm to it and everyone swayed and cheered to the beats and the performances of family members of both sides. As entertaining and fun it was, it somewhere also was an emotional experience as the bride’s parents shared some anecdotes and pieces of their thoughts with the audience. Our hearts filled with joy and warmth as we witnessed the magic that seized the moment!
Our bride, Eshita is a doctor who is fighting bravely against the coronavirus pandemic and helping patients tirelessly. Such a warrior deserves nothing but the best and the theme the couple chose for their wedding seems apt. The enchanting wedding ceremony décor was a Bollywood themed décor inspired from the film Bajirao Mastani. Everything from the entry to the rituals, were executed in line with the theme. This gave a royal Rajwada touch to the whole affair and seemed to be nothing less than a mystical experience that will be memorable for a long time to come.
From the planning to execution, this wedding had a different idea and theme for every setting. While the sangeet ceremony had a modern black and golden shimmery feel, the wedding ceremony was a traditional and royal tale told by every aspect of it. It was a beautiful feeling to see Dhruv and Eshita tie the knot and embark on a new journey together and we wish them all the luck for the same!
