OnePlus first released the Nord earlier in the summer this year. Even though the phone had a slick design, supported 5G, and its price was under $500, it was not available to those in the United States. Fortunately, OnePlus has announced two new phones, N100, and N10 5G. These two are significant additions to the Nord family and are also priced below $500. Besides, the two new phones will now be accessible in North America as well as Europe.
The N10 5G costs £350, which is around $415 while N100 has a price tag of £200 (around $235). These prices are affordable and quite worth it minding that both phones come with great specs.
Just as its name implies, the N10 5G supports the 5G network, thanks to its Qualcomm Snapdragon 690 chip. The 5G network can be great for those playing games online on platforms like vulkan vegas. Besides, the phone will be one of the least expensive 5G phones in the US. The device also comes with a 6.49-inch 90Hz display screen, 128GB storage, 6GB RAM, and a microSD card slot. The 128GB storage is impressive since it is double what is available in most of the 5G smartphones released in 2020.
Additionally, the N10 phone has a 4,300mAh battery. This can charge faster with the OnePlus Warp Charge 30T. Besides, this N10 5G runs on Android 10. It encompasses 4 rear cameras, which include a macro cam, a 16 MP 119 degree ultra-wide cam, a monochrome cam, and a 64 MP main camera. Selfies can work well with the 16-megapixel digital camera. Moreover, at the rear is a fingerprint sensor, which works way better than an in-display one.
On the other hand, N100 is not as impressive as N10 5G. It is cheaper and is at the lower end of the Nord family. It comes with 64 GB expandable storage, 4GM RAM, a snapdragon 460 chip, and a microSD. It has a bigger 5,000-mAH battery, but the charging speeds can only go up to 18 watts of power. Instead of four cameras, the N100 has three cameras at the back of the phone. These cams include a 13 MP primary digital camera and 2 more cameras for capturing macro and portrait pictures.
Just like N10 5G, N100 also runs on Android 10 and has, a finger sensor mounted on the rear side. Due to its cheap price and notable features, N100 could end up competing with some of the latest phones like Moto G Power. It is also worth mentioning that both phones will have a dual sim for those in Europe and the UK, and only a single sim in North America.
Even though we know that the two new Nord phones will be available in North America, no one knows the day or month when this will happen. OnePlus promised to share the dates much later in the future. Besides, the company has done a great job on these two devices, which have grabbed the attention of most people. On top, they are very affordable 5G phones that come with the latest features.
