A Simple Killing, an independent Irish film directed by Jason Branagan featuring Daphne Cheung (Doctor Who, Baywatch) and featuring Aidan O’Callaghan (The Witcher, The Rook), Claire Gavin (The Wreck) is set to screen at BAFTA and OSCAR qualifying Foyle Film Festival in Derry after its successful US premiere at the Newport Beach Film Festival. While trying to take her own life, Mai (Daphne Cheung) is interrupted when a young, pregnant woman (Claire Gavin) in distress calls to her door in desperate need of help from her partner Terry (Aidan O’Callaghan)
