Recently, I am blessed with a colt (baby horse) though his mother has been with me since I was 11. I cannot express my relation and attachment with her in words, and I do not even try it, for I know that heartedly relation cannot be made, but they make like we are bound with parents and siblings biologically.

My mother and father decided to have a child after four years of marriage. They took the decision when they would have prepared to share a big common responsibility. After 2 months of my birth, my grandfather faced a severe car accident and shattered his one leg and one arm.

My father was very touched to him and served him till his last breath. When I grew 10 years of age, we lost the senior-most member of the house, and my father felt very disheartened at that moment of losing his father. The image has now blurred in my mind, but I could feel the pain till now.

My grandfather loved animals the most, so in the last months of his age, he brought a female colt at home and specified her name as Malta. I remember she was a best friend to my grandfather. She was so cute and energetic like every other animal of a young age.

When my grandfather abode to his journey, she used to stand in her stable all day and night and waiting for his master to feed her. My father did try to feed her with all efforts, but every effort went in vain. She fell weak for the next couple of months without much energy, only keep her eyes opened.

In this blog, I have attempted to excavate the inner side of the human heart who fail to understand feelings of animals and torture them without feeling grief upon their pains.

Personal experience with animals
