William Burton, better known as Dr. Woody Burton, is the superintendent of Lake County Schools in Tiptonville, Tennessee. After serving in the military, Burton started his teaching career at Norman Smith Elementary School. He has three degrees: a bachelor’s in business and organizational management, a master’s in educational management, and a doctorate in educational leadership. During his tenure, he held the positions of assistant principal at Clarksville High School and principal at Dickson Middle School. Unfortunately, his current job serves as a front for horrible crimes that are concealed.

Despite being married and the father of two children, Burton is accused of having extramarital affairs at the school. No one knew about Burton’s covert agenda, but he once said that “our district is rich with history and a tradition of excellence that we will not rest upon but commit to extending and improving for the future.”
What’s the Next Step?
One may argue that Burton is more than qualified to serve as the district’s leader given his education, experience, and background. He does not, however, possess the moral character required to hold a position where he could make decisions about the upbringing of future leaders. The people of Tiptonville, Tennessee, and the United States will be stuck with a generation of shady people for all time if these accusations are disregarded and Burton is permitted to hold his position without having his level of guilt investigated.
