The Reserve bank of India will soon be releasing the RBI Assistant Admit Card for the Mains exams. It is usually released 2-3 weeks prior to the exams. The students are notified by way of an SMS to their registered mobile numbers. The updated notification states that the mains exams are now scheduled on the 22nd of November 2020. This means that the candidates have less than a month to prepare for the RBI Assistant exams.
Those who have researched and are experienced in taking this exam understand that it is very important to visit RBI Assistant Previous Year Papers during the last few weeks. The previous year papers are very important reference materials that give a clearer picture of the type of questions asked, variation in marking schemes for different questions as well the surprise elements that candidates must expect.
However, with only a few weeks left, it is very easy to lose focus. To add insult to injury, the pandemic situation hasn’t improved which may be quite demoralizing for students. This article is written as we acknowledge the fact that these are tough times for students appearing for such competitive exams. Keep reading as we will help you beat the preparation blues!!
Plan smart
There is a well known saying- A goal without a plan is just a wish. When preparing for such competitive exams, candidates often do not plan their work and instead focus only on reading a ton of material. Planning well involves not just preparing a study plan but most importantly planning your preparation smartly- making flash cards, flow charts, mind maps, etc. are very useful during the last weeks. It may take an additional hour of your time, but trust us when we say, it will be worth every second spent!
Eat healthy, eat well
Exams are really stressful, especially when you are aware that the competition is cut-throat. Most people facing this pressure either eat too much or totally lose appetite. Both the cases can cause distressed digestion, leading to more anxiety. Eating right and on time easily solves this issue. During exams, it is always best to eat simple home cooked meals. When you feel the urge to munch, eat healthier snacks like nut mixes, fruits, juices, smoothies, etc.
Hydrate your body
Our body consists of 70% water. It is a common practice to replace water with caffeinated drinks such as coffee and tea to stay awake during the nights. However, it is a heavy price to pay as this leads to irritable bowels. If necessary, it’s always a better idea to hydrate your body and flush out any such toxins. You can also include coconut water or fresh juices to hydrate your body.
Get some sleep
Yes, get some sleep! Even Sleeping Beauty slept well after a hard day’s work, then what’s stopping you? Rest is as important as working hard towards your goal. Sleeping well makes your mind more alert. It helps you restore the energy to bounce back with more enthusiasm the next day.
Think positive
It is important that you have a positive attitude even on days when you feel anxious and hopeless. It is rightly said that, ‘you attract what you think and you get what you believe’. Peer pressure, stiff competition and the pressure to success may gloom your days. However, even a dark cloud has a silver lining. It is very important that candidates maintain a positive attitude and stay strong, emotionally and mentally.
These are some things that we recommend to overcome tough days, do leave a comment to tell us how you beat your preparation blues!
