History of Amer Fort:
It is believed that the fort was established in 967 AD when a ruler of the Chanda clan was settled here. Later in 1592, Maharaja Man Singh started with the construction of the remains of the earlier structure and it became the residence of the Rajputanas. Over the next hundred years, magnificent elements were added to the architecture of the fort. Being a fascinating reminder of the royal era, the fort was declared as a UNESCO World Heritage site in the year 2013.

Diwan- e- Aam:

Diwan – e – Khas:
This is the third courtyard of the complex, where on one side is the Hall of Mirrors called Sheesh Mahal, also called Diwan-e-khas or ‘hall of private audience’. Embellished with mirror work, this place looks absolutely gorgeous.
Zenana Mahal:
The fourth courtyard is another epic spot which was once home to the royal women of the palace. The detailed art work here is worth admiring.
