We had long anticipated the launch of “the Next Network” and the rollout of their shows that they planned to release, and after watching, we have formed some pretty solid opinions about what they are bringing to the table so far. We are keeping up with the platform as they continue to release new content for viewers to watch. A lot of people tend to spectate on the release of a new network based on image, cast, quality, audio, and a number of different factors. We know exactly what it takes to produce a film, show, movie, etc. A lot of moving parts and key players to make something like this successful. Now while all platforms of course have things they can work on and improve, here’s our takeaway after week 1. The storylines thus far are magnificent. What we were teased with is perfectly traditional. The visual were above average. Many times you see startup networks drop the ball on the production side, not this time. Audio was clear and the entertainment honestly distracted from a lot things some may have considered mistakes. There is no question as the network continues to get better, so will the content. Please keep in mind the spectrum on film judgement is across the globe and to do it to this magnitude was very well filmed and edited. The characters and cast were well sought out and it’s clear Alonzo “Zoe White” Gordon & Ramona “Mona Liza” Clemons came for the #1 spot in reality television. We recently found an article based on the power couple and were excited to do more digging and research of our own. It is very rare in the Hollywood film industry you see a romantic couple tackling a beast of this nature, and for them to be African-American really does open doors for a lot of people!
“For The Love Of Ponzo”
At first glance, we weren’t sure how the public to react to “For The Love Of Ponzo” but after watching episode 1, we were well entertained and it did not disappoint. The cast seem to consist of some very unique individuals as they conquest for the heart of Ponzo Houdini. We believe Ponzo is in for a wild ride as some the ladies seem genuine, and others not so much. We don’t necessarily agree with how the first elimination unfolded but we are excited to see what’s left in store for this season. For an up and coming network, they’re is no question that The Next Network team is pumping out high quality content at a rapid rate. We believe this show was very well casted, and seems to fit in very well along other reality dating show giants, and can truly compete for Americas viewers! If you got a chance to catch the episode, the ending was very intriguing as we got a sneak peek into next week, it seems drama filled and we’re here for it as we can’t wait to watch!
“Chanel’s Real Cabaret”
People know Chanel from winning “Joseline’s Cabaret” but here at The Next Network, Chanel decided to form her own cabaret. We must say, after watching the first episode, this show seems very well filmed and produced. We really enjoy the bright colors and make the show seem very..vibrant! You also can’t go wrong with a good dance competiton. Chanel seems to be doing things “her way” this time and episode one seems to already have a tad bit of drama stirred into it between some of the cast. This show is truly representing Houston, TX and it’s culture in a major way! Chanel is bringing positive light to the city with this show and we are so excited to see who makes the final cut of the cabaret. Chanel seems to have a very talented cast, maybe some more then others but once again, the producers on The Next Network, did not disappoint! From flips, tricks, fire and smoke, Chanel is bringing out all the stops this season and we will definitely keep watching!
“The Baddest Buffalo”
As we watched the “teaser” for The Baddest Buffalo”, we immediately knew we were going to be in for a wild ride! Of the 3 shows, this one definitely seems a bit more dramatic in terms of cast members. We don’t necessarily agree with the each cast member selected as some seem like your typical clout chasers in todays world while some seem more genuine. We will be able to form a more solid review after watching the first full episode and will keep everyone posted! We know the network decided to go on tour for this show, so we definitely cannot wait to see what happened in each city!
Ever heard the saying, “don’t fix it if it’s not broken” ? Well The Next Network currently has a winning formula that we believe is right on track to get the producers, “Ramona Clemons” & “Alonzo Gordon” right on their way to the American Reality Television Awards..and winning! We would be lying if we didn’t think of Lemuel Plummer & Janeisha John when looking at Alonzo & Ramona. It will be very interesting to see how these two black power couples mix in this industry. While Zeus may have been around longer, The Next Network is coming off a lot more fun to watch, much more affordable, and more positive message being put out and more creative, shoutout to the writers over there. The Next Network recently had their Premiere Launch Party, where you can see Ramona & Alonzo dressed to impressed and setting the pace for what we truly consider “couples goals.” Watching Ramona & Alonzo’s journey, is really inspiring to us all. Rumors are that the couple plan on releasing a joint book and even an album together! Expect that book to sell off the shelves and we will be paying attention for its release date and keep the public notified. Is this a triple threat couple ? It truly does propose the question..what can’t these two achieve ? Who will they be knocking off the pedestal in order to climb on theirs ? Are these two just hype or will they live up to all the pressure ? We will be sticking around to find out.
