This could be a case of either email client settings not being configured properly or mail synchronization issues if your BigPond emails do not show in the Sent folder. To begin with, check the configuration of the email client and see if there is an option to save sent emails to a folder called “Sent.” In most email clients, like Outlook or Thunderbird, there is usually an option in account settings where a user can choose the location of sent items.
For clients who use the webmail interface to access BigPond email, check if the Sent box has been created appropriately and whether filters are barring you from accessing your sent messages. If you have changed your email settings or server settings recently, please check again to make sure that you have the correct SMTP settings. The SMTP server should be set to smtp.telstra.com, port 465 or 587, with SSL on.
If the above does not resolve your issue, compose a test email and look for it in the Sent folder. If it does not show up, consider removing your email account and adding it back again, or contacting Bigpond Customer Care Number . Doing so will ensure that your email actions are adequately recorded and that you do not miss any sent emails.
