1. According to Hinduism, God is:

(a) God created himself.

(b) God is a creator – a spider-like creation out of Self. Its design consists of organic – living beings – and inorganic – non-living objects.

(c) God destroys its creation and absorbs it back into itself. To know about THE GODS OF HINDUISM, click here

*There is no scientific evidence to support these claims. Who made God? Humanity has no response. Understanding God becomes more manageable if we accept that He is self-created. Even in science, we accept certain concepts without proof because they appear to solve unknown problems. Axioms or postulates, concepts without scientific proof, can assist us. Stationary orbits of revolving electrons around the nucleus are an example!

God is an all-encompassing space.

2. God is omnipresent; He is both near and far away. With our five senses, we cannot see or feel Him. Yet, he is everywhere at the same time. How is this even possible? He can be found in every nook and cranny of the Universe. He is enormous, more significant than the biggest, and his size is limitless. God created the Universe.

God is eternal.

3. He has no age and is immortal. He is eternal. Thus, God has existed since the beginning of time and will outlive the Universe, which is His creation.

Characteristics of God

4. According to Hinduism, Godly characteristics include truth, fearlessness, kindness, nonviolence, and unconditional love. Hatred, violence, greed, attachment, anger, and ego are all ungodly human characteristics. Humanity should avoid these demonic characteristics.

The birth-rebirth cycle and the concept of ‘Moksha.’

5. Hinduism rejects the concept of a Day of Judgment. It believes in the soul’s birth-rebirth cycle and that the soul never dies. God assigns a species and a body to the soul before birth. The soul departs from the body after the body parts. God assesses the soul and places it in another body of a suitable species. According to Hinduism, the world contains 8.4 million species.

*There is a myth in Hinduism that our ultimate goal in life is to achieve Moksha, or liberation from the cycle of birth and rebirth, and to live with God in His abode. Hindus believe that after death, God reincarnates our soul into another species’ form until our soul is pure enough to live permanently with God. It is nearly impossible to verify the truth of this concept. We can never be sure of the fact about the Day of Judgement. But is it essential? These ideas merely inspire devotees to live spiritually.

* Another Hindu myth is that if God allows us to see and experience Him, we are good candidates for Moksha.

Religious anomalies

6. Surprisingly, even robbers and thieves seek God’s favor for their heinous missions. There is an insufficient condemnation of illegal activities by religious preachers. A small number of religious preachers join forces with political leaders to make hay while the sun shines. It is found in all religions. Some Muslim priests conspire to marry a 15-year-old Indian girl to a wealthy Sheikh from the Middle East. Even among Christian ‘Fathers,’ a small percentage engage in sexual activities.
