Introduction to Royal Premiere HealthCare (RPHC)
Royal Premiere HealthCare (RPHC) is firmly committed to the safety and health of our employees and patients. Throughout the entire pandemic, we have followed strict guidelines and protocols that are in line with WHO guidelines and the UAE regulatory authorities’ guidelines and will continue to follow the same. This allows us to efficiently manage the spread of any infectious diseases, including COVID 19.
Our nurses and doctors are very vigilant in identifying the signs of infectious disease. If a patient is suspected of having an infection and treated according to these guidelines, minimize the risk of developing cross-infection. Royal Premiere HealthCare (RPHC) can handle such situations efficiently and quickly.
PCR Testing
RPHC has provided COVID 19 PCR test in Dubai at our patient’s homes, offices, and hotels since the beginning of the pandemic, and we have been able to establish ourselves as one of the biggest and most trusted PCR test suppliers across the UAE. If you need an examination to confirm your symptoms, not symptomatic (without symptoms), however, you have had frequent contact with someone suffering from COVID 19 or have to undergo a screening test for school, work, or travel, Our tests are the most reliable and accurate available.
As a highly regarded healthcare company in Dubai, our PCR tests must meet the same quality standards as the rest of RPHC’s services. We are also in compliance with the highest standards of global quality and local guidelines.
Sensitivity
This degree of sensitivity is essential to ensure the safety of citizens of the UAE and the whole world. That is why it is our preferred supplier to international airlines and a range of government agencies requiring their citizens to undergo testing by RPHC. This level of sensitivity can only be attained through a careful extraction procedure, test using top-quality thermal cyclers, and authentication by the report of an RPHC hired molecular geneticist and a consultant pathologist.
Turnaround
The time between the collection of samples in one of our treatment or consulting rooms or drive-through locations has decreased since the beginning of the pandemic. We are now advising patients to expect to receive their results provided via SMS or email. Results are pushed to government portals to record and then uploaded for upload to the Al Hosn app. The ability to receive your test result within the next 24 hours is consistent with internationally recognized providers and FDA guidelines. It is within the 48-hour deadline that is set for the DHA.
Moving Forward
We regularly review and test the most recent testing technologies, which allows RPHC to adapt to any changes in the testing guidelines and ensure that we cooperate with both DOH and DHA to launch new testing options as the government’s strategy for this pandemic progresses to the phase of recovery after the world-class vaccination deployment. While PCR tests will continue to be the most reliable method of diagnosing illness, we are expecting additional tests to be added to PCR tests. They could include. However, they are not only limited to:
Serological (Antibody) Testing
A blood test determines the number of antibodies present within your body after confirming infecting yourself with this virus or after vaccination. There are many serological tests available currently, but the most efficient in determining the degree of protection that you might have from COVID 19 is the SARS-COV2 Antibody test. It examines your body’s reaction to the spike(s) protein, which is the mechanism by which the COVID 19 virus attaches itself to the body’s cells to spread. It is the target of many vaccines.
Antigen Testing
A blood test can quickly determine the presence of the virus. It’s a more rapid test, but it is not as sensitive, so it is less likely to detect recent transmissions. It is also more efficient for patients with symptoms. The test is offered to hospital patients currently.
Saliva PCR Testing
This method of taking the samples to use for PCR tests is preferred by older people, children, and people who cannot tolerate the swabs of their throat or nasal area. The time for extraction is more time-consuming (slowing the process), and the sensitivity has been lower than traditional methods of collecting. But, technologies have improved this area, and we are currently testing various saliva testing equipment.
