Can a teeny-tiny grape juice glass truly beat out a beer to accompany a juicy burger? In our opinion, yes. Let’s consider the rationale for matching burgers with wines.

Some would contend that street food and refinement are not in the same category as these two culinary icons. If you think that, you’re not considering how useful these two goods are, so think about this.

  • Wine is nothing more than rotten grape juice.
  •  A burger at the 21 Club in New York costs $36 and is served without cheese.

In light of this, we decided to put our wine-matching expertise to use and create some fantastic wine suggestions for four traditional burger recipes: plain, cheddar, mushrooms and swiss, and barbeque bacon cheese.

Iced tea with added sugar is a traditional accompaniment to cheeseburgers, and it tastes great because the tannin in the tea helps to wash away the stickiness of the cheese. The wines mentioned above also have more tannin. They also offer tastes that will go well with the cheddar cheese and ground beef combo (tomato, roasted pepper, black currant, dried leather). Mushroom Swiss Burger

I grew fixated on the perfect burger construction throughout my study for this post.
