The medical industry makes extensive use of gear. They are also used in surgical tables, patient beds, gear pumps for medical dosing applications and medical diagnostic machines.

The micro assembly uses micro medical trolleys that enable us to produce miniature components with a very compact size. The use of diverse medical trolleys is really advantageous as it provides zero reaction, long operating life, extreme environmental conditions, high efficiency and excellent repeatability. Medical trolleys are widely used in various applications in the railway industry. A variety of specialized gear drives have been developed for railway safety and railway signalling. Buccaneer-drives, quill motor drives are some such advanced drives.

Utilities of medical trolleys

Medical trolleys have also made a name for itself in the steel industry and construction machinery. Planetary gearboxes, reduction gearboxes and pinion gearboxes, warm medical trolleys, bevel medical trolleys and spur medical trolleys are commonly used in the steel industry. The stainless steel medical trolleys are used for loaders, lifters, excavators and all such machines used for construction. The following article discusses the components and uses of adjustable castors, which are rarely mentioned. While supporting a furniture item such as a washing machine, castor provides a simple solution when moving a few pieces. A tool that has not been given much thought has become an indispensable asset in daily life.

Adjustable castors

Being able to rotate the castor perfectly, objects can be easily moved and twisted as needed. The wheel axle and bearing race can be changed depending on the use used to complete the castor and it can also be found with rigid housing which means moving forward or backward in the same direction.

In the early 1500’s, casters were used on things like wheelchairs and baby cages! The ‘baby cage’ was a real thing used by mothers to hold their babies so that they could carry out household chores and not have to worry about escaping or injuring themselves. Castors were installed at the bottom of the cage for easy transport inside and outside the room. While controversial today, Baby Cage was an older model of the Play Pen used by many parents today and in the age to come.

In 1730, castors were made of leather, similar to the wooden floors of houses. The leather eventually went to brass. Hardwoods were preferred before this date and because casters were in the early stages of development, it took many years to reach the ideal material.
