Next, transfer the shape onto clear acrylic using a permanent marker or pen. You can also use a stencil if you are making more than one pin at once (just be sure that you keep all of your pins inside). Cut the shape out using a small saw
Cut the shape out using a small saw. If you’re using a custom logo, make sure it’s not too large for the pin; otherwise, it will be hard to see when worn on a lapel or hat. The pin should be about 2 in diameter at the widest point and approximately 1/4 thick. You may need to file down the edges with an emery board or sandpaper if you cut your design out of cardboard or foam core board, but this is not necessary with acrylic. Once you’ve finalized your design, use a super glue gel pen to glue the pins together. Allow them to dry completely before wearing or displaying them! Cut out the inside of your clear custom acrylic pins

To do so, you will need: a ruler, a cutting mat, and an X-acto Knife (or scissors). First, we want to measure out how big we want our logo or design to be on the acrylic. We don’t want it too small or too large. The size should be proportional to the size of your pin. Then, use the blade of your knife to cut away at the inside of your pin until you’ve created a space for your design.
