You may be planning to sell your home or buy a new home. Either way, you’re probably looking for a great real estate agent.
Broker, real estate agent – is there a difference?
There are Realtors® and makler kiel. These are not synonymous terms. A real estate agent is authorized to “represent a buyer or seller in a real estate transaction for commission”. Real estate agents usually work for a real estate agent or estate agent.
A real estate agent is also licensed and can sell properties either as an agent or as a broker. There are absolutely ethical real estate agents and Realtor®. The main difference is that a real estate agent has made an additional commitment to honor the 17 Article Code and the profession of real estate business.

Recommendations
Ask your friends, colleagues and family for recommendations. Most people who have had a positive experience working with an agent are happy to describe their experience and why they felt their agent was exceptional.
Recommendations from professionals
It is certainly appropriate to ask real estate agents for recommendations. Representatives of financial institutions, particularly mortgage brokers, are likely to be aware of exceptional agents.
Open houses
Going to an open house is a great, non-threatening way to meet real estate agents. Note the agent’s manners and appearance, their professionalism and the quality of the promotional material provided at the open house. Does the agent seem knowledgeable about the property and the local market? Is the agent willing to point out the ins and outs of the house, or is he basically ignoring visitors?
If you have a generally positive impression of an agent, be sure to collect a business card and write down your observations.

Plan to interview several realtors before making a decision and signing a purchase agreement. During the interview, ask each candidate to provide referrals from recent clients and call those referrals.
Questions to ask include the asking and selling prices of their properties and how long the home has been on the market.
Take the time to consult the Estate Board of Licensing Services to confirm that the candidate is currently licensed and whether any grievances or disciplinary action have been filed against the agent.
Experience
How long has the agent been in business? You should look for an agent who has a thorough knowledge of the local market where you are looking to sell or buy your home. It takes time to build up expertise and knowledge of the market. One agent recommends that any suitable candidate should have at least five years of experience.
Does the agent work full-time or part-time? You should expect a full-time agent and ask for it.

Ideally, your potential immobilienmakler representative is busy but not too busy to represent you effectively. If you feel that the candidate is under no obligation to provide full and enthusiastic service to your sale or purchase, or is willing to hand you off to an “assistant,” go ahead.
