Who doesn’t admire the spring season, with winds blowing and flowers falling from trees, making routes even more desirable? Who doesn’t love the rainy season, with greenery everywhere, paving our way into a new environment? But everything comes at the price of sacrifice. Therefore, what we discuss in this article will be not informative but moral and eye-opening.
We have seen children playing in the parks; elders are walking on the footpath, some enjoy a picnic, and some are swaying through the slides. Such a delightful scene it would be, isn’t it? But we often ignore the dirt and disposal that we tend to make and then avoid cleaning it. We have seen several parks where waste is disposed of openly, and no cleaning is done in such parks.
To abide by the cleanliness rules of the country, the government has issued an initiative to start “donations for park clean up“ for the residents. Every household will accept donations of a minimum of 5$. It is not only the duty of the government to have a clean environment for everyone, but the citizens also must keep their surroundings clean.
The donation will be used for cleaning every park in the country, along with setting up separate dustbins and garbage cans for recyclable and non-recyclable wastes. We will also be inviting community services by volunteers who wish to participate in the cleaning process. The volunteers shall be rewarded with a memento and a certificate. In addition, there will be stricter rules regarding no smoking/drinking on the park premises.
Donations of park clean-up will not be utilized for purposes other than as mentioned above. Such an initiative will help build a cleaner environment for everyone, thus maintaining the country’s diversity. This initiative shall also assist the plants and animals who hold their habitat in such parks.
Protection of flora and fauna should be the utmost priority of every individual, irrespective of what gender or caste they belong to. Through this blog, we tend to develop a sense of responsibility within every individual to maintain a clean and healthy environment.
