Welcome to chapter 4 and the brand-new update on competition games. For this season, Fortnite will continue to run the Fortnite tracker Divisional Cup every week tournaments and will return to online competitions for FNCS and introduce new competition options such as Victory Cups, Fill Cups, Zero Build Cups, Collegiate Cups, and more!

RESET HYPE

This year’s excitement has been reduced to a tepid level following the beginning season. As with last season, players must achieve the Rank of Contender to be eligible to play in cash-based tournaments. Zero-build competitions are open to all players and don’t require an Arena ranking to participate.

FINDNITE DIVISIONAL CUPS

We will determine how to participate in the Divisional Cups in Chapter 4, Season 1. The competition is played as duos. The aim should be reaching one of the Elite Cups, where cash prizes are awarded.

Fortnite Divisional Cups begin on January 4, 2023. It will play them weekly for players qualified to play that are part of the Contender, Challenger, or Elite Divisions. In the whole region, the tournament will last for two days—Fortnite Divisional Cups per week on Fridays and Wednesdays. Elite Divisional Cups will not be played during the FNCS week.

For Elite Division players, scores are added on Tuesday and Thursday. But Elite players must be part of day 2 of these Elite Cups to be eligible to participate in The Elite Cup Weekly Final on Saturday nights. Only you can join one region’s competitions in the coming year. So choose the region you’d like to take part in with care!

PLACEMENT CUP

The 10th day of December is when you could participate in the Season’s Placement Cup to qualify in your region for one of the three Competitive divisions of Fortnite. They are Competitors, Challenger as in Elite. To participate in the tournament, you must achieve an elite rank in Battle Royale Arena before when the game begins. The participants will compete to be crowned Battle Royale Arena Duos in two rounds, with those at the top of the 1400 duos eligible to participate in Round 2. In the second round, 200 Duos will be chosen to be placed in the Elite Division, and 1000 Duos will qualify for a spot in the Challenger Division.

To compete in NA East or NA West, 100 Duos are eligible for Elite Division, and 500 Duos will be eligible to play within the Challenger Division from the Placement Cup during the current season.

FNCS

Online FNCS competition will return this year! FNCS will replace Elite Divisional Cups for five weeks throughout the season. Players who have earned Elite Division will unlock participation in FNCS. Gather your group and prepare to start your FNCS journey, which will begin on February 3, 2023. We’ll provide more information in January regarding this FNCS and the rest of 2023.
