Pendant lights

Wall sconces
Again, these are directional lights. These lights can be only fixed on the wall and not the ceilings. They provide illumination in the vertical direction that is either upward or downwards or both.

Since the light is not directed towards the front, it can be placed at eye level. The person standing in front of it will not be blinded. Another thing you need to remember is that these lights may sometimes be dim. So it will be better suited as accent lights.

These are placed under cabinets, shelves or tables. It is used to light the surface for better illumination. It is often used in retail stores for its display shelves. Without being too bright for the customers, it can shine on the products. The customers can see the items better.

It can also be used in homes. You can use it for the shelves at home. Cabinet lights for your display shelves can highlight your trinkets.
