It was almost certain that there would be more, if Johnson and Craig wanted to create them, given that 2019’s “Knives Out” generated more than $300 million at the box office on the strength of a frugal $40 million budget.
Therefore, it should come as no surprise that Netflix jumped at the chance to make a sizable $469 million offer, locking up Johnson, Craig, and producer Ram Bergman for two sequels, the first of which is titled “Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery.”
