Anupama is the story of a housewife and her daily struggles juggling for her family. Anupama has been maintaining her highest TRP rating since the very beginning. In a very short span of time, it has become one of the most watched and popular TV dramas in India.
Roopali Ganguli aka Anupama is the lead actress in the show. Anupama is a very kind, loving, down to earth and extremely caring wife and mother. She is uneducated but has high family values and is an exceptionally great cook. Anupama never asks for anything in return but does not get the same love and appreciation from her husband, Vanraj and children, Paritosh and Pakhi.
However, her younger son Samar respects her mother a lot. Vanraj is very rude to his wife and thinks that she is not suitable for him and does not match his class. Vanraj has an extramarital affair with his colleague Kavya. One day Anupama catches her husband, Vanraj red handed with Kavya. She cuts all ties with her husband but chooses to live in the same house for the sake of her in-laws and children. She decided to follow her passion of being a cooking teacher.

Anupama claims that Anuj doesn’t have any decisions, but is just staying true to his word. Hasmuk is trying to help Vanraj realize that the other people have a similar concern for Pakhi.
Anuj is trying to help Shahs realize that he’s been in love with Adhik and Pakhi’s youth. He claims he understands the emotions Adhik as well as Pakhi are experiencing.
