The Lamborghini 2023 Diamante is a one-of-a-kind concept car that was built by Lamborghini to celebrate its 40th anniversary in 1993.
The Diamante was designed and built by Lamborghini’s engineering team in Sant’Agata Bolognese, Italy.
It has a top speed of 202 mph (325 km/h) and can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph (0 to 97 km/h) in 4.5 seconds.
The car is named after the Italian word for “diamond”, which is a reference to the fact that it is made entirely out of carbon fiber and has no metal parts whatsoever.
In 2023, Lamborghini will introduce the Diamante. The Diamante will be equipped with a V12 hybrid engine producing 1,200 horsepower and all-wheel drive. The hybrid system uses an electric motor at the front axle to provide additional power and torque.
The Diamante will use Lamborghini’s new platform, which will also underpin the next Aventador and Huracan evo models. Lamborghini says it was designed from the beginning to accommodate hybrid powertrains.
The Diamante is a four-seater with a long wheelbase to provide lots of cabin space. The dashboard has a unique “3D” look due to the use of different materials for various surfaces and a slightly canted layout. There are three screens: one for the driver, one for the passenger, and one in between that controls climate functions and infotainment.
