New car-buying platform YesAuto UK claims to have launched the UK’s first online virtual reality Car Show, the YesAuto UK Car Show.
The online event is designed to help connect car buyers with sellers and dealers, enabling attendees to browse, purchase and book test drives of the cars they want.
YesAuto UK said the campaign offers an “innovative new way” to browse and buy cars from leading brands online and offers buyers a wider selection of models.
YesAuto UK was officially launched in the UK last month (August) with the aim of attracting car buyers to dealerships through its online stores and car information centres.
Neil You, UK Managing Director of YesAuto UK, said: “We are delighted to bring the YesAuto Virtual Motor Show to the UK for the first time.
“The innovative automotive experience provides an excellent opportunity to look at the wide range of brands and models that YesAuto has to offer. And it encapsulates what makes YesAuto unique in the car buyer’s space — making the car buying experience as smooth, simple, and accessible as possible.”
From VR 360 panorama technology to test drive booking functionality, users can see VR interior and exterior views of the car they want to buy from their laptop, iPad or mobile device.
By offering 19 exhibition halls, attendees will be able to:
Interact with virtual showroom hosts
View the exterior and interior of 142 different virtual 3D car models, from economy models to luxury sports cars
Live interaction with 100 dealers and brands such as BMW, Land Rover, Aston Martin, Nissan and Fiat
Discuss sales models with key opinion leaders, including influential automotive influencers, who will introduce visitors to the vehicle’s unique selling points
The YesAuto UK show is among some of the biggest motor shows in Europe that have been cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic, including the 2020 Geneva motor show.
