  • You will need at least one year of Canadian work experience in a listed occupation that too within the duration of the last three years.
  • You should be employed in Canada when you submit your application to the IRCC.
  • You should not be working as a self-employed person.
  • A score of 4 bands either in English or in french through Canada’s recognized language tests.
  • Lastly, you should be in Canada on a temporary status and physically present in Canada at the time of application submission, during its process, and when it is accepted.

 

TEMPORARY POLICY POST-SECONDARY GRADUATES

  • A student must have completed a post-secondary program in Canada after 2017
  • The student should have a diploma or a degree of a program which at least was of two years (16 months) in total minimum duration.
  • The student was authorized in the full course duration to study in Canada. 
  • The student should be employed in Canada when filling in the application.
  • Have a valid work permit on a temporary visa.
  • In this category, the minimum requirement for a language test band is 5.
