Scan through the required details
Before even applying, first, understand which university or school is providing the scholarship. Understand the basic criteria for applying like for which grades will be applicable, is it applicable only for academics or other areas as well (which areas), who all can apply, etc. Then go through the entire application until you are able to understand it properly, then start filling out the application.
Who can apply?
Students studying between 5th and 11th grades can apply for a 9GEMS Education Scholarship. There are different categories like A, B, C, D respectively and the tenure for the scholarship is one year. This scholarship gives importance to the talent of students, and the applicants must be winners in any of the 9 GEMS skills like; sports, music, instrumental music, dance, martial arts, drawing, and STEM.
Applicants in all categories must be citizens of the residing country studying in Global Indian International School (GIIS) and possess the ID of that country. Students need to compulsorily have received recognition at the National or International level and should possess extraordinary skills or talent.
Who can benefit from this scholarship?
The 9GEMS Education Scholarship is exclusively offered by the Global Indian International School and students studying only in GIIS schools can be eligible for this scholarship. It is a non-transferrable scholarship.
Required documentation
Documentation plays a very important role while applying for any scholarship. Make sure that all your required documents are on hand to avoid any sort of confusion. To apply for the 9GEMS Education Scholarship minimum documentation is required which includes the past two years’ academic records, achievements, awards, or certificates in the specified skills of 9GEMS, and Visa copy and ID of parent and student of the residing country.
