Setting SMART goals means you’re specific about what you want to accomplish and how you want to do it. Having a set of goals will help you make progress in life, no matter what. Keep in mind these goals will be challenging, but not insurmountable.
For example, if you want to lose weight, you might want to plan on losing 4 pounds every month. If you’re a coffee addict and want to cut back, you might set a goal to cut back one cup a day or cut out all caffeine for the next month. The main thing is to be clear on your goal so you can follow through on it.

Don’t depend on your co-workers to keep you entertained all day, even if you work for the same company. Take yourself out for a few hours once a month and meet a friend for coffee or lunch. Set aside time to work out and try something new and fun. Take time for a hobby, but make sure you do other things, too.

The time you spend away from work and other commitments is a crucial part of building your confidence and sense of self-worth. Schedule time to take a bath, read a book, relax, meditate, exercise, make healthy food choices, or just have some time to yourself.
