Before your wedding day there are so many things that worth of preparing. I would like to share some of my thoughts because I am a photographer and from my photographer’s view and in this article I will discuss this topic under several sub topics.
Choose your cosmetic photographer wisely
View the past work of the photographer. It is the first and foremost thing which comes in my mind when selecting a photographer. Not everyone with a camera can master it because photography is an art. But the digital camera however has revolutionized how the photos are taken and the photographer has more latitude to correct their mistakes after the photo has been taken but still the photographers need more photographic skills and knowledge so they can capture more beautiful pictures. Within a night these skills and knowledges can not be acquired or developed. To become a fully fledged artist a newbie need more time. Anyhow if you do not like the past photos of the photographer then do not work with him regardless of the photographer’s state. Just keep in mind one thing that you will select a person who will capture the best moments of your life. You do not want those pictures which will disappoint you and you will be regret for that blunder. So just hire a capable photographer which will suits your style and taste and which will be budget friendly and for this job keep time in your hand.
The style of photography
Generally and traditionally the wedding photos are captured inside the studios with many props and setups. Often the photographers gives certain modelling instructions and advices to the brides and grooms. It can result in great photos that are sharp and well composed if the subjects know how to pose correctly. Many peoples are camera shy unfortunately and do not know how to keep a smiling face in front of a camera. In this case posed shots is not a good idea.
Photo journalistic
During the past 15 to 20 years wedding photography has gained it’s popularly. This type of photography style is less posing and less formalized for the subjects. The photographers do not give any instructions and just record the raw and untarnished emotion. Sometimes the bride and groom do not recognised that they are being recorded. I love this type of photography because according to me people look best when they are under their natural state.
