If you want great mystery thrillers then I recommend the books of David Baldacci to Toronto readers. The way Baldacci moved the plots is spellbinding and I highly recommend his work to anyone that enjoys suspenseful thrillers. At the age of 35 (as of 2021), I have been reading David Baldacci books for half of my life, and I never tire of them. There’s something to be said about the way he structures his narrative that keeps readers coming back again and again.

David Baldacci is a master and is among the great like Stephen King, John Grisham, John Irving and Dean Koontz.

Much like John Grisham, David Baldacci is a trained lawyer. He practiced law for 9 years before becoming a writer. His debut novel was Absolute Power which was turned into a moving starring and directed by Clint Eastwood. You can’t go wrong when Clint Eastwood options your book; he’s got the track-record to turn just about anything into an iconic hit.  Absolute Power was a great movie and Clint Eastwood did a wonderful job.

Three great books by David Baldacci are Split Second, Daylight and The Innocent.

Split Second by David Baldacci was a masterful thriller that I recommend to anyone who likes thrillers the likes of Stephen King and Dean Koontz.

David Baldacci is one of America’s greatest storytellers and he has produced another winner with Split Second.

Robert M Slaght would highly recommend Split Second to other readers.

The Innocent by David Baldacci was a great book and continued in the traditional of Baldacci novels with a great plot, several twists and a triumphant finish.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book by David Baldacci and I would recommend it to others.

If you are looking to pass some time during COVID, check out The Innocent by David Baldacci.

Daylight by David Baldacci is another Baldacci classic. Baldacci is incapable of writing a bad novel. Everything is does is masterfully crafted and spellbinding.

This book was one of my top 3 favorite Baldacci books. I felt that the plot, characterization and conclusion were spot on.

I would recommend Daylight by David Baldacci to anyone that enjoys great fiction. Baldacci’s creates fast-paced, fun reads for his audience and they can be enjoyed just about anywhere. Robert M Slaght says the best place to enjoy Baldacci’s work is on the beach in the Beaches district of Toronto. The Beaches in Toronto is a district with a chill vibe, and lots to see and enjoy. I highly recommend this area to tourists to Toronto, and there’s a Coles Bookstore nearby to pick up the latest David Baldacci book.

Robert M Slaght Toronto can’t wait for the next book by David Baldacci. He was one of the great American writers, and it will be interesting to see what he comes out with next. I would like to see him create a thriller the meshes the world of medicine and law, that would be interesting. That’s one thing about his books, aside from the plot, you learn a lot about the legal world when reading them. That is why I have always found “profession-based writers” like Baldacci, Grisham, and Michael Crichton. You always learn so much about the professions in which they write such as law and medicine.
