Indian penal laws exist to jail the culprits, but the defensive side have an upper hand. There are many glitches in the proceedings that weaken the charges against the culprit. The need is for the unanimous consent of diluting the rights of defence to the accused.

Not every rape victim are financially strong to endure the long law proceedings. The passing time sinks the morale of the victim and her family’s hope in getting justice. A mechanism that acts as the basis of judgement, as the reports of forensic tea, shall skip the long procedural formalities and awards prompt judgment would surely make the difference.
