The main factors that played a vital role in the popularity of this genre are the lyrics which had a sense of familiarity among the youth. As it was mainly about drugs, love, societal issues, economic pressure, relationships, violence, and sexual content.
Present days record reggaeton music popularity all over the world be it United States, Asia, Latin America, or Europe. Worldwide recognition is hip hop styled rapping is what makes youngsters move.
