Toxic positivity is a state of optimism and happiness in all life situations regardless of the real problem. Positive sentences that are continuously received without providing solutions or problem solving actually have an impact on stress and the inability to think positively.
Positive toxic characteristics include mineralizing all problems, having to be optimistic or happy, hoping that emotions will stop immediately, not caring about the context / effective and denying emotions. If you find a sentence that only gives encouragement and doesn’t provide a deep solution, it is considered toxic positivity.
The drive to stay positive can work in normal or peak situations. However, when in a downturn, the enthusiasm for positivity can be frustrating and at risk of underestimating the problems at hand.
Feelings of disappointment and grief may recover over time but in part, it tends to be untreated wounds that become more severe and burden his life. Each individual has a unique personality, expressing disappointment and grief is also different.

Coronavirus or COVID-19 is a virus that can attack a person’s respiratory system COVID-19 can spread very quickly and has spread to other areas in China and to several countries, including Indonesia. This virus is easy to spread and has the ability to quickly infect humans’ breath. COVID-19 can affect anyone, be it babies, children, adults, the elderly, pregnant women or nursing mothers. So, of course, this virus is very dangerous and cannot be underestimated, because it can lead to death.
Currently, the total number of cases of people infected with COVID-19 in the world is increasing, namely 1,074,290 cases with the number of people who have died, namely 56,987 people. Meanwhile, the number of COVID-19 cases in Indonesia alone is currently around 56,263 cases. Therefore, to anticipate the spread of this virus, the Indonesian government has implemented various policies so that Indonesian people can avoid and break the chain of the COVID-19 virus. Like the large-scale social border policy (PSBB), this is done to ask people to avoid crowds (stay at home). Not only that, the government also asked people to continue to maintain cleanliness and maintain body resistance by diligently washing their hands with soap and maintaining a healthy diet.
Although currently there is no effective drug to treat patients infected with this virus, the government is trying to treat and prevent this virus through medical assistance / health personnel , namely by giving patients painkillers for fever symptoms with high body heat, and ask covid sufferers to be able to drink lots of water so that the sufferer’s immunity can be maintained.
Another way recommended by the government for positive sufferers of COVID-19 is to quarantine infected people. Quarantine is to separate people who have been exposed to the virus from people who have not tested positive for this virus. It could be that people / families of patients who are exposed to COVID-19 also catch this virus because this virus spreads so quickly, one of which is through sneezing splashes of water. Therefore, it is necessary to quarantine or be separated from the family or society at large so that this virus does not spread more widely.
So, at this point in time, we must be sensitive in obeying government regulations so that COVID-19 in Indonesia can be resolved immediately and all community activities can run as before, without any boundaries / physical distancing with other communities, so that the bad impact caused by the spread of this virus , both for health and economic development can be resolved immediately.
