The examination for the AZ 301 training measures various kinds of skills of the professional and certifies them accordingly. The examination has around 15% of questions that determine the workload requirements, around 25% of questions on security and identity, and around 20% of questions on data platform solutions. The business continuity strategy questions in the examination cover around 20% while questions based on deployment, integration, and migration cover around 15%. There are also 20% of questions based on the design of infrastructure strategy. One must note that the AZ-301 examination has been retired in 2020 and replaced with the AZ-304 instead.
