India boasts of a diverse culture influenced by rich heritage and history which is also reflected in the interiors of an Indian home. Be it temple motif architecture from the South or intricate carvings seen on Mughal monuments – Indian interiors have drawn their inspiration from everything aesthetic. Being an avid reader with a deep interest in history and evolution, decorating my home with a desi touch has always been my dream. Fine fabrics with dabu or ikat prints can be used for upholstering your cushions while cotton or khadi can be used for side chairs.
