Then pat dry the pony with another towel.
Conditioner your synthetic hair:
If you have finished washing your synthetic hair thoroughly, now it’s time to apply some conditioner to it. As we have already mentioned, that conditioner for original hair is not effective for synthetic hair. That’s why you should take a special conditioner made for only synthetic hair extensions and use it. Take a gentle amount of conditioner in your hands, then rub your palms a little. Now coat the conditioner in the hair strands starting from the top. While applying the conditioner, you should keep your movement one-directional. Make sure, your strokes are always downwards to the tip of the extension. After applying the conditioner in the whole ponytail evenly, it is time for the conditioner to set properly onto the hair. To work properly on synthetic hair, the conditioner takes 10 minutes to rest.. After 10 minutes, gently detangle the hair with your fingers. Be cautious of your fingers not being too harsh onto the wet hair extension. After that, again rinse the fake ponytail completely with fresh and cold water. Then to remove excess water from it, squeeze it gently with your palm.
Dry the fake ponytail:
The last step of the process is to dry your wet ponytail. Most synthetic ponytails come with cautions against heat drying. After pat drying it with a towel, you should leave it hanging in your room to air dry the hair extension. Keep the wet ponytail somewhere dry, where it is not too sunny.
