In QS 2009 Top Asian University Rankings 16 Philippine schools participated and were included in the list. Mindanao State University, Iligan Institute of Technology (MSU or IIT) is the best university in the Philippines in 2021. Founded in 1968 under the provisions of the Republic Act (RA) 5363, MSU is known for its excellence in science and technology.
