Nepal and Bhutan are only countries in the entire world that had been never captured by any other countries of the world. During the British colonization period Britain took control over almost all Asia like India through East India company but the British never successfully captured Bhutan and Nepal.
While counting the list of the countries that have been never invaded and never ruled by others the two countries only seem to appear which are defiantly Nepal and Bhutan. The British gradually captured India but they left these Himalayan countries Nepal and Bhutan. There might be a lot of regions why then never captured Nepal and Bhutan but somehow they are liked to great Gurkha warriors and British thought to expanding their business.
Most probably they didn’t capture Nepal and Bhutan because the benefit to cost ratio of capturing these countries was far far less compared to other south Asian countries such as India. So they never give a complete thought to capture these countries.
Another mighty reason could be they were here to expand their business and earn much and more not to create India or capture the countries. They actually did try to capture Nepal because they wanted to expand their business to Tibet but they didn’t succeed so they made a treaty with Nepal to maintain Peace. Anyway, these two countries did remain Independent till now and marked the history to be not colonized.
