The hydraulic breaker is a piece of construction equipment, mounted on backhoes, excavators, stationary plants, and mini-excavators. The breaker is used for breaking big rocks onto manageable small rock pieces. Moreover, it is used to demolish the concrete structure for constructor work. There are different types of hydraulic breakers which vary according to the construction need like the surface of the site or nature of work. Excavator used in construction mining and demolition construction applications, the hydraulic rock breaker is an ideal attachment. If you are dealing with different types of construction sites, there is no need to buy a new excavator. Hydraulic breaker parts suppliers provide different hydraulic breaker attachments to the constructors to fulfill the needs of the construction.

Hydraulic breaker structure:

There are few major components of hydraulic breaker which need to be known to understand how it works. The three major parts of the hydraulic structure are:

Backhead:

The back head of the hydraulic breaker is a chamber for storing nitrogen, also known as a nitrogen chamber. When you place the hydraulic breaker under high pressure, then the nitrogen chamber works as a damper on the return piston breaker stroke. Moreover, when the piston of the hydraulic breaker travels down, the back head of the breaker acts as an impact enhancer.

Cylinder assembly:

Another core part of a hydraulic breaker is its cylinder assembly. Mainly, it is made up of a piston, cylinder, and control valve. The moving parts of the hydraulic breaker are its piston and valve. The piston from the cylinder assembly moves up and down to hit the surface. Moreover, another moveable part rotates to control the direction of the oil flow. It is the main part of the hydraulic breaker which causes the movements and generates hydraulic power. With the valve oil control, the flow efforts the movement of the piston to generate energy impact. Moreover, there is a seal kit set inside the cylinder which avoids oil leakage.

Front head:

This is another main component of the hydraulic breaker by which the piston and the chisel are connected. The chisel of the breaker is attached to pins and bushes. These parts can easily be replaced when needed. The front head of the hydraulic breaker directly touches the surface. There is box-type housing that protects from wearing and lead it to live longer services.
