You might have a lot of lipstick containers sitting around, right? Since the containers of those lipsticks are beautifully designed and they are made of good materials, you might dislike throwing them out?
Below a shadow of any doubt, lipstick containers have a perfect size to be popped up in your purse. They are pretty cool and great for storing a myriad of items.
The first step – Clean out your lipstick tube
This is certainly the most time-consuming part of the entire process. Once you have an empty lipstick container, clean the leftover with either a cotton bud or lip brush. You need to remove the entire product before cleaning the containers.
The second step – Soak it overnight
To ensure the entire product is removed from every corner of the container, let the container soak in soapy water throughout the night. Just add a spoon of dishwashing soap in a bowl, and then fill the bowl with water. This way you have loads of bubbles in your bowls. The next morning you’ll see the oils of your lipstick floating in the water.
The third step – Rinse with the alcohol
If you still find any excess product left in the container, fill it with rubbing alcohol. Then let it stay inside for a few hours, the mess will come out automatically.
The fourth step – Boil the beauty containers
There is an immense need to sterilize the containers. You can also sterilize the empty container in an oven but the boiling process is more preferable. Fill your pot with the water, put your containers, and let them boil until they are cleaned properly. Let them boil for at least ten minutes.
The fifth step – Let them dry
Once your containers are boiled, then cautiously remove them with the heatproof thongs. The containers will be exceedingly hot so make sure to be careful while taking them out. Let them dry on paper towels and ensure they are completely dried before you put new oils and products into the containers.
And now, you’re all ready to store whatever you want.
