Robbers Cave
Robbers cave is a 600 meter long naturally formed cave with a cool stream flowing inside it. It is situated in Guchhu Pani, Anarwala which is around 8 km from Dehradun City. Forest Research Institute
Forest Research Institute is a premier institute of the Indian Council and Forestry Research and Education, which was declared a Deemed University in 1991. The institute was built in 1906 in 4.5 square kilometers near Kaulagarh and Chakarata Road. The Institute has a beautiful Colonial and Greco Roman style architecture with massive green gardens which are a delight to watch. The institute has 6 museums dedicated to Forestry and Research which are quite popular amongst visitors. Guru Ram Rai Gurudwara: Dehradun the capital of Uttarakhand has been named after the Dera or the camp that Guru Ram Rai put when he arrived hear in 1675 and settled in village Dhamawala. The Guru Ram Rai Gurudwara was built in 1669 as a mark of this settlement.
Jhanda Mela: Jhanda Mela started as a celebration of his arrival and settlement in Dehradun in 1675. Jhanda Mela is celebrated on the fifth day of Chaitra which is also the fifth day after Holi.
