Immigration New Zealand has successfully introduced an Accredited Employer Work Visa, a three-step process. The job check is a second step to ensure that the employment is highly acceptable. It is also to ensure there is a enough suitable candidates in New Zealand to perform the job.
Firstly, the employer must have an accreditation to hire international candidates. Secondly, the applicant must have an acceptable job offer from the employer along with an agreement. Evidence of the advertisement regarding the position has not been listed in the Green List. Lastly, the ANZSCO code matches the position that is being offered.
